Meet Dr. Stephen Migden, Ph.D., ABPP |

After receiving his bachelor’s degree, with honors, from Columbia University, Dr. Migden worked as an editor for a nationally known encyclopedia, and then went on to earn a doctoral degree in psychology from New York University. In private practice since 1979, he has also held a number of other important professional positions, including
Dr. Migden has published articles on learning disabilities, ADHD, and emotional-behavioral problems in prestigious professional journals, and he has lectured at local, national and international conferences. He is a licensed psychologist and a certified school psychologist. In addition, Dr. Migden is among a very select group of psychologists who have earned board certification from the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) – less than 5% of all psychologists in the U.S. have earned this honor. Dr. Migden is a member of the American Psychological Association, the New York State Psychological Association, the International Dyslexia Association, the Association on Higher Education and Disability, and the Independent Educational Consultants Association.
